DOUGIE has been shuttled from quite a few homes already in his young life, so it’s no surprise that he’s a little unsure of himself and others at times. He’s ~11 months old and is a very handsome Hound Mix. He’s full of energy and a little bit of mischief. He is super smart and already knows a few commands (sit, paw, other paw, down) and is thrilled to work(train) for treats. He also loves to run around after balls and toys. He is particularly fond of squeaky toys and will run around, throwing it up in the air in delight and then roll around (upside down) on the grass playing with it. He’s quite the silly boy. After earning your trust, he is very affectionate, wanting to wrap his big paws around you for a hug and attention. He is good on leash with a harness or gentle leader but could use some refinement to make walk time enjoyable for everyone. He is dog friendly and loves spending time romping around our playyard with his Rescue Ridge canine friends.

She is great with just about everyone. People, dogs, cats, she loves them all. Fern has the most amazing brindle coat. She is small, mighty and HILARIOUS. She is apt to just drop and roll during a walk to get a good scratch in. She snorts constantly and it is simply adorable. I am a friendly girl who likes to play. I have a lot of energy, so I’d love to have an active home. I enjoy getting attention from everyone, and I’d rather not live with another dog. I weigh about 50 lbs, and I am housetrained, according to my owner, who had to move and couldn’t take me along.  I am 4 years old, and I look like a Terrier/Hound mix. I know “sit” and “paw”, and I give hugs and kisses.

JELLY, PEANUT, and BUTTER
These puppies are Bulldog/Terrier mixes and they are 12 weeks old and are ready to be adopted. The three of them came to us in very bad condition a couple of months ago and we’re so happy that they have flourished into healthy and happy puppies!
Butter, Jelly, and Peanut are dog friendly, walk on harnesses, are crate-trained, and will be spayed and neutered soon. They are not at the Tinton Falls shelter – they are residing with a local foster family and with that we would like SERIOUS INQUIRIES only!

Coquito is 8 years old and is a sweet Sato looking for his forever home. When Coquito came to us, he had an old injury to his leg that hadn’t healed properly. Our medical team decided that having his leg amputated would be best for him & his well-being.
